About Attorney Robyn Smith Ellis

A graduate of the University of Virginia and the School of Law at the College of William and Mary, Robyn Smith Ellis has been practicing law since 1999. Robyn received the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating of AV Preeminent®, the highest peer rating standard, signifying that a large number of her peers rank her at the highest level of professional excellence for her legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards. Robyn is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She has served on the board of directors of local organizations such as the Salem Educational Foundation, the Salem Museum, the Adult Care Center of Roanoke Valley, and the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. She has also served as President of her children’s elementary school PTA.
Robyn has been recognized as a “Best Lawyer” in So Salem, a publication of The Roanoke Times; a “Blue Ridge Best of: Retirement Living Awards” winner in the area of Elder Law Attorney in Our Health magazine; and a recipient of a Best Lawyers Silver Medal in the area of elder law from the Roanoker Magazine.
